Setup Exchange and Office 365 for iOS

This tutorial will guide you through configuring Office 365 on iOS devices. 


Go to your iPhone or iPad's Settings > scroll down and tap Accounts & Passwords > Add Account.



Note: If you’re using iOS 10, go to Mail > Accounts > Add Account.

Select Exchange.

3Enter your Office 365 or Exchange email address and a description of your account. Tap Next.

Tap Sign In.

Enter the password associated with your email account. Tap Sign in or Next.

5The Mail app may request certain permissions. Tap Accept.

6Choose the services you want to sync with your iOS device and tap Save. You're done!User-added image

Note: You can use POP or IMAP to access many different types of accounts, including Office 365. Here are the POP and IMAP settings for Office 365:

Incoming Server:
Username: Full email address
Password: The password associated with your email account.
Incoming server port: 993 for IMAP, or 995 for POP
Encryption method: SSL Enabled
Outgoing Server: 

Outgoing server port: 587
Encryption method: TLS

Note: A common problem is caused by customer setting outgoing authentication to SSL or OFF, it must be set to TLS
